high hp seems to be the topic of disscussion, well, if you want to lower hp, sup runes are alway good for that purpose. Other than that, symb was never intended for use in regular mob fights. Even so, I like to keep my hp well into the 600s. Even a smooth run will take several hours, high hp gives a margin for error. Symbiosis is intended to help the ranger take out the barks in the degen room.

frenzy isn't really needed, most things do enough dmg, might help in the bridge. Frenzy is also a pain to maintain

Frenzy does not work. whatever was hitting you with Frenzy was already doing enough dmg beforehand.
do a UW run with a SS/SV Nec or a Famine Ranger, with Shing Jea armor you won't be able to tank the Graspings with Frenzy. Ele Resistance, or anything that lowers AL works.

Did the run with guildies, got to room 5, none of them really seem to want to do it. If anyone here wants to start making pugs to go do this I would be glad to join, I am a very experienced monk and I can provide a ventrilo server for us to use. I can play either monk, I did the tank in the run I did with guildies. If anyone would like to do this with me or would like to take me along with them pm me my IGN is Path Of Radiance. Ty

Considering Health I've done a few calculations.
Spirit Bond Heals for 88 hp at 12 Protection Prayers
Life Attunement adds 43% to healing.
These add up 125 health each hit. So not taking degen and hits below 60 dmg in consideration. You can have a health of up to 1250 hp without losing health each hit.
Then smiting, Smiter will have 16 ranks in smiting.
Max damage to deal with Holy Wrath is 53 dmg, which is 66% of the total dmg.
So total damage dealt to get the best damage:smiting ratio you should be hit for 80.3 dmg. Totalling a Health of 800.
Max dmg dealt with retribution is 21 dmg, which is 33% of total damage.
So total damage dealt to get the best damage:smiting ratio you should be hit for 63.6 dmg. Totalling a Health of 630.
So according to this optimal health should be 800. Without Life attunement you would be healing 88hp for each 80 dmg hit. So it should be maintainable. Including degen, it just aint gonna cut it. so the 125 hp heals are very welcome.
Just some numbers :]

Where is FrogDevourer at now that he has been owned by about 10 other people affirming that this build can do the trick?
I love seeing flamers eat crow. Especially flamers that still flame (especially with no basis or reason) even after someone has gone to the trouble of typing out a very long very detailed build.

Devourer invalidated the claim of the screenshots, which was correct. I do not recall them saying specifically the build could not succeed under any circumstance.
It stays within their rights to refrain from posting anything further which does not contribute to the thread or guide, now that the requests have been met - actual proof, which was the original challenge of the 'flamers'.
There is nothing more to be said from them, or me in the case.

But the pictures were real, they didn't look too marvelous, but they were real. I never minded people being doubtful, but the tone undertaken by the mistaken assumption that the screenies were fake, took people's comments to less than civilized behavior.

Tried this out today, we used the three builds listed and an additional battery and warrior to cover our mistakes.
We got as far as the energy degen room without too much trouble, but at that point we took a wrong turn and found another area with health degen not mentioned in the guide. It turns out the reason is it can be avoided completely, which we only realised after clearing most of the popups and reached a point where the energy degen from the next room overlapped with the health degen. If anyone else ends up in this health degen area, just head back and find the path around, because we really struggled despite having a blood ritual and heal party on the extra necro.
The furthest we got was the area after the exhaustion + weakness where our EoE didn't kill all the wardens, leaving our SB tank stuck in an uncomfortable place with an expired second spellbreaker
One trick that might help is hat-switching to a superior beast mastery when laying edge, sometimes a bad lure will leave you with too few enemies for a full EoE bomb so any extra damage helps. There were several occasions where the initial EoE wasn't enough, spellbreaker ran out and we all needed to run like crazy.
The three man build seemed to hold it's own, we only really used the extra two for clearing up/running away when things went wrong. Even so, it took us two practice runs and 6-7 hours to get where we did, with two extra people and ventrilo. I'm sure with experience this can be done in a fraction of the time with far fewer deaths, many thanks to the guys who worked it all out, must have taken you quite some time to perfect it

Im not a proffessional, or even in possession of a particularly good eye, but I did go through the disputed areas of the pic pixel by pixel at 16x (and with a utility that let me see hex codes, so it was objective) and found nothing supporting a forgery.
Like Ive said before, the upper left section of the picture, which noone questioned (and noone had a reason to fake) looked more like a fake then the party window.
Conclusion: People who doubted the build are full of shit.
[to reiterate, I think the build is inefficient and could benefit from a fourth]
